The 3rd Annual Bourne End Junior Craft Show is on Saturday 3rd October & is the brainchild of Sue & Amy Croall which started with crafts classes in Bourne End library during October 2012.
Amy, who loves to enter arts & crafts competitions realised along with her Mum Sue, that there was a need for regular classes & a competition, so after speaking with Inca at the Library, the organising began. The Bourne End Horticultural show generously offered their “Penny Walsh Cup” which is presented to the Judge’s Favourite entry each year.
There is no entry fee & you can enter as many times as you like, so with 4 age divisions & 5 categories for entries there is a competition to suit everyone including sketching, knitting, photography, collage & more.
So, here is what you need to do…
Create your masterpiece & take it along to the library between 9.30 & 11am on 3rd October so your entry can be placed into the correct class prior to judging.
Judging takes place between 11 & 12 noon & between 12 & 2pm the show is open to the public for viewing. Refreshments will be available & Prize giving is at 1.30pm.
