As we all go about our lives planning for Christmas & New Year, some people will be hiding a secret, a secret that all is not well in their world.
Whether a person is feeling depression, grieving or having relationship problems, these feelings don’t just stop because it’s Christmas. Mental health doesn’t care what time of year it is or who you are with & we all need a little support at different times in our lives. I think talking therapies are only just starting to become an acceptable way to help, rather than a luxury that is put to the bottom of the list of things to do.
Self care is as important, especially if you care for others or even to function on a daily basis. It may not be a quick fix but it certainly points you in the right direction to a better life.
I have moved from a therapy room into the online counselling area after dismissing it for years, assuming that a “face to face” session is the only way to work. But after realising that are many people who work shifts, can’t travel, have financial difficulties or perhaps don’t actually want to be in a room with a therapist, I feel online/Skype is an essential service to offer. You can be anywhere in the country & still benefit from this service.
Although it’s unusual, the price is shown in the advert to avoid those who have financial difficulties feeling awkward asking about the cost.
If you think this will help you unravel your life, please email me & I will give you a call to discuss what would suit you best.
