Wooburn Fete on The Green from 12 – 4pm
On Friday we have live music with “In Too Deep” at Ye Old Swan in Burnham High Street playing rock covers & the Church Lane Vintage & Handmade Market in Chalfont St. Peter offering up-cycled, hand-made & vintage items.

Henley Literary Festival is still on & Bourne End junior Craft Show at the library is on Saturday 3rd, it’s open to the public at 12 noon & prize giving is at 1.30pm
On Sunday 4th there is a Charity Dance afternoon at Cores End Church starting at 12.30 & Taplow Car Boot opens at 11.30am

Today is a very busy day for fetes, fairs & sales.
If you have checked the events calendar will you see that we are spoilt for choice today but if you plan it wisely you can enjoy some time at each of them.
I popped down to the Community Centre earlier & met some lovely people selling a variety of goodies. There is also a BBQ, live music & a visit from Dominic Grieve MP. Here are some photos from earlier on.
We have had some lovely local events lately including the Glorianna passing through Bourne End for the Magna Carta celebrations.
Tuesday was the opening of Cafe Thames in Oakfield Road, a much needed addition to the community in my opinion & on Tuesday evening, The Bounty played host to some Morris Dancing. (Thank you to Anne Jirsch for these amusing Morris Dancers!)
The annual Hedsor Club, Classic Car Show was a popular day out on Sunday with some beautiful photos being taken. An impressive variety of both British & American Classic cars were on display along with music, stalls & of course the Club bar.
On Thursday evening (25th June), Bourne End & Cookham and Langley & Iver Rotaracts are holding a fancy dress, Movie Quiz starting at 7.30pm at Burnham Park Hall. There are some fantastic raffle prizes including a boat trip, afternoon tea at the Compleat Angler, Odds Farm tickets, personal training, Tour of Pinewood Studios.
This weekend is the Bourne End Village Fete from 10am til 2pm at the Community Centre. There will be a BBQ, stalls, tombola & the Wakeman Road car park will be FREE! On the same day, the Riverside Fair, Riversdale is on from 12 til 4pm so you can visit both!
And coming up we have the Teddybear Parachute Jump at St. Paul’s Church on Sunday 28th June, Henley Royal Regatta starting 1st July & the Bourne End Sewing Bee on 23rd July.
